Clients under 18 may receive only those services Blowology determines are appropriate for minors.
Depending on the client's age and requested service, Blowology may require a parent or legal guardian to provide consent, complete or sign required forms, participate in a consultation, remain present during the appointment, or otherwise authorize the service.
Certain services may be unavailable to minors regardless of parental or guardian consent.
Blowology reserves the right to decline or discontinue a service when applicable age, consent, supervision, eligibility, or safety requirements have not been satisfied.

CLIENT & APPOINTMENT POLICIES
4. APPOINTMENTS AND PAYMENT AT BOOKING
Appointments may be booked through Blowology's website, mobile application, Meevo, telephone, or another authorized booking method and are subject to availability.
An appointment is confirmed when confirmation is provided through Blowology's booking system or by an authorized Blowology representative.
Payment Requirement
A valid payment method is required to secure an appointment reservation. Blowology's standard policy is to charge 100% of the scheduled service price at the time of booking.
By booking an appointment and providing payment information, you authorize the applicable payment processor to charge the disclosed amount for the appointment.
Payment at booking reserves the appointment time specifically for you and is subject to the cancellation, rescheduling, late-arrival, and no-show policies below.
Certain appointments, events, group bookings, promotions, packages, or other special services may have different payment requirements. Any materially different terms will be disclosed in connection with the applicable booking.
5. PRICING AND SERVICE ESTIMATES
Prices displayed on Blowology's website, application, booking system, menu, or promotional materials are subject to change.
The price presented when an appointment is booked generally applies to the service selected at that time, except in cases of an obvious pricing or technical error or when the nature or scope of the service changes following consultation.
Some services may be listed using terms such as:
"Starting at";
"From";
"+";
"And up"; or
Similar language.
Such pricing represents a starting price rather than a guaranteed final price.
Final pricing may vary based on factors including:
Hair length;
Hair density;
Hair texture;
Hair condition;
Previous color or chemical treatments;
Product required;
Complexity of the requested result;
Time required;
Additional treatments;
Add-ons; and
Changes requested during the appointment.
Where reasonably practicable, your service provider will discuss material additional charges with you before performing additional services.
6. 24-HOUR CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING POLICY
Blowology understands that plans sometimes change. Because appointment times are reserved specifically for each client, the following policy applies.
Cancellation 24 Hours or More Before the Appointment
If you cancel your appointment at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time, the amount paid for the canceled appointment will be refunded to the original payment method unless different terms were clearly disclosed for that particular booking.
Refund processing times may vary depending on your bank, card issuer, or payment provider.
Cancellation Less Than 24 Hours Before the Appointment
Appointments canceled less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time are considered late cancellations.
Because Blowology has reserved that appointment time and may be unable to fill it on short notice, the amount paid for the appointment may be forfeited and is generally non-refundable.
Rescheduling
A request to reschedule is treated under the same 24-hour notice policy.
Requests made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment may be rescheduled without a late-cancellation penalty, subject to availability.
A request made less than 24 hours before the appointment may be treated as a late cancellation.
Exceptions
Blowology recognizes that genuine emergencies and extraordinary circumstances can occur. Management may, in its discretion and where appropriate, make an exception to the cancellation policy.
Any exception is made on a case-by-case basis and does not create an obligation to make the same exception in the future.
Certain private events, bridal services, group bookings, promotional appointments, or other specially reserved services may have different cancellation requirements when disclosed before booking.
7. NO-SHOW POLICY
A client who does not attend a scheduled appointment and has not canceled or rescheduled in accordance with the applicable cancellation policy will be considered a no-show.
For a no-show:
The amount paid for the scheduled appointment may be forfeited;
The payment is generally non-refundable;
Membership credits, promotional credits, or package benefits associated with the appointment may be treated as used when permitted by the applicable program terms; and
Blowology may require additional booking conditions or restrict future booking privileges following repeated no-shows.
8. LATE ARRIVALS
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
Blowology will make reasonable efforts to accommodate a late arrival, but appointments are scheduled for specific periods and delaying one appointment may affect other clients.
Depending on how late you arrive, Blowology may:
Shorten the scheduled service;
Modify the service;
Remove optional portions or add-ons;
Assign another available service provider when appropriate;
Reschedule the appointment; or
Treat the appointment as a late cancellation if there is insufficient time to safely or properly perform the service.
Arriving late does not automatically entitle a client to a refund or reduction in the originally booked service price.
If Blowology determines that a service cannot reasonably be completed because of the client's late arrival, the applicable late-cancellation policy may apply.
9. APPOINTMENT CHANGES BY BLOWOLOGY
Occasionally, circumstances outside Blowology's reasonable control may require us to modify, reschedule, or cancel an appointment.
These circumstances may include:
Employee illness;
Emergency;
Equipment failure;
Building or utility issues;
Weather;
Safety concerns;
Technical or booking errors; or
Other unexpected circumstances.
If Blowology cancels an appointment and cannot reasonably provide the scheduled service, we will offer an appropriate rescheduling option or refund the amount paid for the affected service.
Blowology is not responsible for incidental expenses incurred because of an appointment change to the fullest extent permitted by law.
SERVICE POLICIES
10. CONSULTATIONS AND CUSTOMER DISCLOSURES
Clients are responsible for providing accurate information reasonably necessary for Blowology to perform services safely and appropriately.
Depending on the service, you may be asked about:
Allergies;
Skin sensitivities;
Hair or scalp conditions;
Medical conditions relevant to the service;
Injuries;
Medications;
Pregnancy;
Recent procedures;
Previous hair color or chemical treatments;
Product reactions;
Contraindications; or
Other information relevant to the requested service.
You are responsible for completing consultation, intake, consent, and related forms accurately.
Failure to disclose relevant information may affect the safety, suitability, or outcome of a service.
Blowology may decline, modify, postpone, or discontinue any service that we reasonably believe may be unsafe, inappropriate, or contraindicated.
11. SERVICE RESULTS
Beauty, hair, color, skincare, spa, body, cosmetic, and wellness services involve individual variables.
Results may differ based on factors including:
Hair type, texture, density, and condition;
Previous chemical or color treatments;
Skin type and sensitivity;
Individual response to products or treatments;
Home care;
Environmental factors;
Medical or health considerations; and
The client's starting condition.
Reference photographs and inspiration images are useful for communicating preferences but do not constitute a guarantee that an identical result can be achieved.
Blowology does not guarantee a particular aesthetic result unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
12. COLOR, CHEMICAL, AND CORRECTIVE SERVICES
Clients receiving hair color, lightening, corrective color, chemical, or other processing services must disclose relevant hair history, including previous:
Hair color;
Bleaching or lightening;
Henna or metallic dyes;
Keratin treatments;
Relaxers;
Perms;
Chemical straightening;
At-home treatments; and
Other chemical processes.
Previous treatments may affect the safety, predictability, timing, cost, or final result of a new service.
Blowology may recommend or require a consultation, strand test, patch test, or modified service before proceeding.
In some circumstances, achieving a requested result may require multiple appointments.
Corrective color, major transformations, and other complex services may require additional time, product, appointments, and charges.
Blowology may decline to perform a chemical service if the service provider reasonably believes proceeding could compromise the client's hair, scalp, skin, or safety.
13. SERVICE SATISFACTION AND CORRECTIONS
Blowology wants clients to be satisfied with their services.
If you have a concern regarding a completed salon or spa service, please contact Blowology as soon as reasonably possible after the appointment so management can evaluate the concern.
When appropriate, Blowology may request photographs or an in-person assessment before determining whether a correction is appropriate.
If Blowology determines that a reasonable adjustment or correction is appropriate, we may offer a corrective service.
Completed Services
Because salon and spa services involve professional time, labor, products, and appointment capacity that cannot be returned once provided, completed services are generally non-refundable.
A preference change after a service has been performed does not necessarily constitute an error in the original service.
Any refund, credit, complimentary correction, or other accommodation for a completed service is determined by Blowology based on the circumstances and subject to rights that cannot legally be waived.
Clients should contact Blowology before having another salon or service provider alter the work at issue, as outside alteration may prevent Blowology from reasonably assessing or correcting the original service.
14. HEALTH, SAFETY, AND SPA SERVICES
Blowology provides beauty, salon, spa, wellness, relaxation, and cosmetic services.
Blowology's services are not medical treatment and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.
Information provided by Blowology employees or contractors should not be interpreted as medical advice.
Certain services may not be appropriate for individuals with particular medical conditions, injuries, medications, recent procedures, pregnancy, skin conditions, or other contraindications.
If you are uncertain whether a service is appropriate for you, consult an appropriate licensed healthcare professional before receiving the service.
Blowology may refuse or discontinue a service if we reasonably determine that proceeding could present a health or safety concern.
15. PATCH TESTS, SENSITIVITIES, AND PRODUCT REACTIONS
Certain products or services may cause irritation, sensitivity, allergic reactions, or other individual responses even when properly applied.
Where appropriate, Blowology may recommend or require a patch test or other preliminary assessment.
A previous history of using a product without reaction does not guarantee that a future reaction will not occur.
Clients should immediately notify their service provider of burning, pain, unusual discomfort, irritation, dizziness, or another unexpected reaction during a service.
16. PERSONAL BELONGINGS
Clients are responsible for their personal belongings while visiting Blowology.
Please keep valuables with you and exercise reasonable care with jewelry, electronics, clothing, handbags, and other personal property.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Blowology is not responsible for lost, misplaced, stolen, or damaged personal property except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.
17. CLIENT CONDUCT AND RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE
Blowology is committed to maintaining a professional, respectful, and safe environment.
Clients may not:
Harass, threaten, intimidate, or abuse employees, contractors, or other clients;
Engage in discriminatory or hateful conduct;
Engage in unwanted sexual conduct or comments;
Damage Blowology property;
Engage in fraudulent activity;
Create an unsafe environment;
Interfere with another client's service; or
Repeatedly disregard reasonable salon policies.
Blowology may decline or discontinue service, ask an individual to leave, restrict future bookings, or terminate an account when reasonably necessary to protect employees, customers, property, or business operations.
Nothing in this section permits unlawful discrimination.
MEMBERSHIPS, PACKAGES & GIFT CARDS
18. MEMBERSHIPS AND AUTOMATIC RENEWAL
Blowology may offer memberships or subscription programs.
Before enrollment, applicable membership terms will identify material information such as the membership price, billing frequency, included benefits, renewal terms, and available cancellation method.
If you enroll in an automatically renewing membership, you authorize Blowology or its payment provider to charge the applicable recurring membership fee to your selected payment method at the disclosed frequency until canceled.
Membership benefits:
Are subject to the terms of the applicable membership;
Are intended for the enrolled member unless transfer is expressly permitted;
Have no cash value except where required by law;
May be subject to service availability;
May be subject to reasonable program restrictions; and
May change prospectively as permitted by law and upon any notice required by law.
Any specific rollover, expiration, freeze, pause, credit, or package rules disclosed for the membership or subscription are incorporated into these Terms.
19. MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION
Members may cancel recurring memberships using the cancellation method provided at enrollment or another method made available by Blowology.
Where applicable law requires online cancellation, Blowology will make an online cancellation method available.
Cancellation stops future recurring charges after the cancellation becomes effective but generally does not retroactively refund membership charges already incurred.
Previously accrued benefits or credits will be treated according to the applicable membership terms and applicable law.
If a membership payment fails, Blowology may suspend membership benefits until payment is successfully completed.
Blowology may terminate a membership for fraud, abuse, repeated payment failure, misuse of benefits, or material violation of these Terms, subject to applicable law.
20. PACKAGES AND PREPAID SERVICES
Blowology may offer packages containing multiple services or prepaid benefits.
Package terms, including any applicable eligibility, redemption, transfer, expiration, or cancellation conditions, will be disclosed at purchase where required.
Unless expressly permitted, packages and prepaid service benefits may not be:
Transferred;
Combined with incompatible promotions;
Exchanged for another package; or
Redeemed for cash except where required by law.
21. GIFT CARDS
Blowology gift cards are subject to applicable California law and any additional lawful terms disclosed at purchase.
Unless an exception permitted by law applies:
Purchased gift cards do not expire;
Purchased gift cards are not subject to prohibited dormancy or service fees;
Gift cards may be used toward eligible Blowology purchases;
Gift cards may not be reproduced, altered, counterfeited, or used fraudulently; and
Cash redemption will be provided when required by applicable law.
Blowology may refuse a gift-card transaction when there is a reasonable basis to suspect fraud, alteration, theft, or unauthorized use.
Promotional certificates or credits provided without payment may be subject to different lawful expiration or redemption conditions.
PRIVATE EVENTS, BRIDAL & GROUP BOOKINGS
22. PRIVATE EVENTS, BRIDAL, AND GROUP SERVICES
Private events, bridal services, and group bookings may require separate booking terms or agreements.
Depending on the event, Blowology may require:
A deposit or advance payment;
A minimum spend;
A minimum or maximum number of guests;
A final guest count by a specified date;
A signed agreement;
Advance service selections;
A designated event contact;
A final payment deadline; or
Other event-specific requirements.
Because substantial appointment capacity may be reserved for group bookings, private events and bridal services may have cancellation and rescheduling policies that differ from Blowology's standard 24-hour appointment policy.
When different terms apply, they will be disclosed as part of the applicable event or group-booking agreement and will control for that booking.
Changes to guest count, timing, or requested services are subject to availability and may result in additional charges.
PRODUCTS & ONLINE STORE
23. PRODUCTS AND ONLINE PURCHASES
Blowology may sell hair-care, beauty, and other products through its online store or physical location.
Product availability, descriptions, images, pricing, packaging, and specifications may change from time to time.
We make reasonable efforts to present products accurately but cannot guarantee that electronic displays reproduce colors or packaging exactly.
The Blowology online store operates using Shopify and may also be subject to applicable Shopify and payment-provider terms.
24. PRODUCT RETURNS AND REFUNDS
Product purchases are subject to Blowology's applicable product return and refund policy in effect at the time of purchase.
Certain products may be non-returnable or final sale where disclosed or where returns cannot reasonably be accepted for hygiene, safety, or other lawful reasons.
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product, contact Blowology promptly so we can review the order and determine an appropriate remedy.
Nothing in this section limits consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
25. SHIPPING
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information.
Blowology is not responsible for delays caused by:
Incorrect addresses supplied by the customer;
Carrier delays;
Severe weather;
Natural disasters;
Customs processing;
Government restrictions; or
Other circumstances outside Blowology's reasonable control.
If an order is returned because of an incorrect or incomplete customer-provided address, additional shipping charges may apply before reshipment.
International purchases, if offered, may be subject to customs requirements, taxes, duties, fees, and restrictions imposed by the destination country.
PROMOTIONS & COMMUNICATIONS
26. PROMOTIONS, DISCOUNTS, AND SPECIAL OFFERS
Promotions, discounts, referral benefits, coupons, and special offers may be subject to additional terms.
Unless otherwise stated:
Promotions cannot be combined with other offers;
Promotions have no cash value;
Promotions may be limited to specified products or services;
Promotions may be subject to availability;
Promotional offers may have lawful expiration dates;
Promotions may be limited to one use per person or account; and
Blowology may modify or discontinue a promotion prospectively as permitted by law.
Blowology may refuse or reverse promotional benefits obtained through fraud, manipulation, duplicate accounts, or other misuse.
27. EMAIL, SMS, AND TRANSACTIONAL COMMUNICATIONS
If you provide an email address or mobile telephone number, Blowology may use that information to send communications relating to services you request, including:
Appointment confirmations;
Appointment reminders;
Booking changes;
Receipts;
Account notifications;
Membership information;
Order information; and
Other transactional or service-related communications.
Where you provide the required consent, Blowology may also send marketing communications regarding promotions, products, services, memberships, and events.
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link provided in the message.
You may opt out of promotional SMS messages by replying STOP or using another opt-out method provided in the message.
Message and data rates may apply.
Consent to receive marketing communications is not a condition of purchasing Blowology services unless otherwise permitted by law.
Opting out of marketing communications does not necessarily prevent Blowology from sending non-marketing communications reasonably necessary to administer appointments, purchases, memberships, accounts, or other requested services.
CONTENT, PHOTOGRAPHY & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
28. REVIEWS, TESTIMONIALS, AND USER CONTENT
If you voluntarily submit a review, testimonial, photograph, video, comment, or other content to Blowology, you represent that you have the right to provide that content.
To the extent permitted by law, you authorize Blowology to use voluntarily submitted content for legitimate business and promotional purposes, subject to any specific consent or release governing that content.
Blowology may reasonably edit content for formatting, length, or clarity but will not intentionally alter a testimonial in a materially misleading manner.
29. PHOTOGRAPHS AND MEDIA
Blowology may photograph or record salon work, services, events, employees, or customers.
Where consent is required, Blowology will seek appropriate permission before intentionally using an identifiable client's image for advertising or promotional purposes.
Participation in promotional photography is voluntary unless photography is an inherent and clearly disclosed part of a particular event or arrangement.
Where a separate photography or media release is signed, the terms of that release will govern the authorized use.
30. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Blowology name, logos, branding, website design, original photographs, graphics, videos, written content, product branding, service descriptions, marketing materials, and other proprietary content are owned by or licensed to Blowology unless otherwise stated.
You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, sell, commercially exploit, or create unauthorized derivative works from Blowology intellectual property without prior written authorization.
THIRD-PARTY TECHNOLOGY
31. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Blowology relies on third-party providers for certain services, including booking, payment processing, e-commerce, application hosting, analytics, communications, and other technology.
These providers may include Meevo, Shopify, Apple, Google, payment processors, and other service providers.
Third-party products and services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Blowology does not control and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, is not responsible for the independent acts, policies, security practices, outages, or availability of third-party providers.
32. APP STORE TERMS
The Blowology Dry Bar & Spa mobile application may be distributed through Apple's App Store and Google Play.
Use of the application may therefore also be subject to applicable Apple, Google, Meevo, operating-system, and device-provider terms.
Blowology is responsible for Blowology-specific content and services but does not control the independent operation of third-party application stores or technology platforms.
LEGAL TERMS
33. SERVICE AND TECHNOLOGY AVAILABILITY
Blowology attempts to maintain reliable website, application, booking, and online-store services but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Temporary unavailability may occur because of maintenance, technical failures, Internet outages, third-party outages, security events, emergencies, weather, or other circumstances outside Blowology's reasonable control.
We may modify, suspend, discontinue, or replace digital features where reasonably necessary.
34. ERRORS AND INACCURACIES
Occasionally, a website, application, booking platform, product listing, promotion, or other communication may contain an error relating to price, availability, description, or other information.
Blowology may correct obvious errors and, where appropriate, cancel or adjust an affected transaction.
If an error materially affects a transaction for which you have already paid and the transaction cannot reasonably be fulfilled as represented, Blowology will provide an appropriate remedy consistent with applicable law.
35. DISCLAIMERS
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Blowology's websites, applications, and digital services are provided on an "as available" basis.
Blowology does not guarantee that:
Digital services will always operate without interruption;
Information will always be error-free;
A particular stylist or service provider will always be available;
A particular appointment time will always be available;
Every product will always be in stock; or
A particular aesthetic or cosmetic result will be achieved.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits warranties, rights, remedies, or consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
36. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Blowology Dry Bar LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, representatives, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages arising from or relating to the use of Blowology's websites, applications, products, services, or third-party platforms.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where such limitation or exclusion is prohibited by law, including any non-waivable consumer rights or remedies.
37. INDEMNIFICATION
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Blowology Dry Bar LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, and representatives from third-party claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses arising from:
Your material violation of these Terms;
Your fraudulent or unlawful conduct;
Your unauthorized use of Blowology intellectual property;
Content you submit without the necessary rights or permissions; or
Your intentional misconduct toward Blowology, its employees, contractors, or customers.
This provision does not require a consumer to indemnify Blowology for Blowology's own conduct where such an obligation would be prohibited by applicable law.
38. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Blowology encourages clients to contact us promptly if a concern or dispute arises so we can attempt to resolve the matter directly.
Questions or concerns may be directed to:
info@blowologydribar.com
415-524-7285
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the dispute will be governed by applicable law and may be brought before a court or other forum having lawful jurisdiction.
Nothing in these Terms prevents a consumer from exercising any right or remedy that cannot legally be waived.
39. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms deprives a consumer of mandatory protections provided by applicable federal, state, or local law.
40. PRIVACY
Blowology's collection, use, disclosure, and protection of personal information are governed by the applicable Blowology Privacy Policy and any privacy notices presented in connection with specific services.
Use of third-party services may also be governed by the privacy policies of those providers.
41. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
Blowology may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in:
Business operations;
Services;
Membership programs;
Technology;
Policies; or
Applicable law.
Updated Terms will be posted with a revised "Last Updated" date.
Material changes will apply prospectively to the extent required by applicable law.
Where additional notice or consent is legally required, Blowology will provide that notice or obtain that consent.
42. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law or severed as appropriate, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
43. NO WAIVER
Blowology's failure to enforce a provision of these Terms on one occasion does not waive its right to enforce that provision or another provision in the future.
Any exception made for a particular customer, appointment, cancellation, refund, or other circumstance does not establish a continuing entitlement to the same exception.
44. ENTIRE AGREEMENT AND SERVICE-SPECIFIC TERMS
These Terms, together with Blowology's applicable:
Privacy Policy;
Membership terms;
Product return/refund policy;
Event or bridal agreements;
Service-specific disclosures or consent forms;
Promotion terms;
Package terms; and
Other transaction-specific terms presented before purchase,
constitute the applicable agreement concerning the subject matter addressed by those documents.
If a service-specific or transaction-specific agreement contains terms that differ from these general Terms, the more specific terms will govern that transaction to the extent of the conflict, subject to applicable law.
